wooden sides devices are my weakness ..... I love them! |
|
in order to provide a USB connection with PC, it use a Burr Brown PCM2704 based module like his little brother! |
|
...same module same vawe shape.......outstanding shape!! |
|
great job and great view of the CS8412 .....you will obseve further something will be changed in this PCB |
|
ooh....nice back |
|
the new power supply...the first unfortunately smocked in a short |
|
the latest DAC PCB |
|
highlight on USB module |
|
Sanyo WG are really good caps in many applications! |
|
here you are the main part's schematic
of this simple but very honest DAC
........it miss the buffer out part ..... |
Lately I did a significative improvement on this device: I realized a simple new buffer, adopting the brilliant BS170 mosfet....... I'm very happy with them....it's so f..... close to tube sound...mmmmmm yeah it makes me happy!!!!....no way to stop listening music with it now!!!!!
Rd=4K Rs=2K2 R1=R2=4Mohm , no attenuator stage, stright to the output cap
....and now I can only enjoy very long listening session of very good music in the best way!!
.......if you're interested in DAC here you are the evolution .....another project adopting the audiophile TDA1541 :
and the last but not the least
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am very interesting in MOSFET buffer you made for TDA1543. In the post text you only mentioned you have made it, but no actual diagram. Could you be so kind and share schematic diagram with me? Please be so kind and contact me at wlodzimierz.wohn at gmail, com
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards,
Wlodek
Hi Wlodzimierz!!
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't draw any, but it's very simple ...I tought doesn't needs any drawing
.....if you are confident with electronic it's quite easy to detect it from my explanation: each channel,
one shunt resistor on the DAC output 2K ; one R ref 1K on TDA1543 PIN7 ; R drain 4K ; R source 2k2 ; and at last a simple voltage divider on the gate R1=R2=2meg (only with mosfet) ....usind fet (2sk30, 2sk170, bf245 etc etc) you can avoid the voltage divider.
...... and when I had a few time I will post a simple schematic .
enjoy and happy Christmass!!!
