...
This is the original Marantz CD38 inside..............almost empty
....the dream.....
...comes true....
...here you are the tweaked one!!!!!
nothing compares Tjoeb or other famous tweak that you can easily find on line.....this is different!!!!!
This is a real lampizator filosophy device, that's means no silicon semiconductors along the signal path.....this is another league device.
...nothingh inside but the yellow output caps are waiting.....
...testing the mess :)
...the new ICE Socket
...this could looks simple, but in this devices are used Low voltage switches after secondary ....then if you want control even the tube secton you have to turn to a normal main switch working at high voltage
...stoling the signal from DAC
....those cables has to be connected ....... orange/black from the shunt resistor on TDA1545 and the bigger ones to those lonely yellow caps ..... :)
the bridge rectifier and some fellows caps
...6J1B-V military subminiature pentode what a nice choice ... I love the sound of this tiny tube
...on the very left of image you can notice if you're skilled the mod of LV fuse moved from the switch PCB
... switched on!!!!!
...Great job!!!!!Great sound indeed!!!!!
I swear I achieved a great result indeed!!!!!!
The first parameter that astonished me was dynamic !! Hardly I found this terrific dynamic on a CD player with a spectacular richness in details and sound texture.....this is what I would call an AUDIOPHILE CD PLAYER!
